What is CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol. It is the second most prevalent of the active ingredients of cannabis (marijuana). While CBD is an essential component of medical marijuana, it is derived directly from the hemp plant, which is a cousin of the marijuana plant. While CBD is a component of marijuana (one of hundreds), by itself it does not cause a "high." According to a report from the World Health Organization, "In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential…. To date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD."

We utilize NANO CBD Isolate (has no THC) that is water soluble. Water-soluble CBD is known to have a higher absorption rate than other forms of CBD. This is because the CBD has been broken down into even smaller particles that can be easily absorbed by the body. CBD and the entourage cannabinoids, CBN, CBC, CBG are part of a growing wellness movement in the hemp marketplace. (Grinspoon, P. April, 2020, Harvard University)

What is the health benefits of CBD?

CBD is stated to assist with anxiety and support other general wellness. CBD does not give consumers the high effect as Delta-8 and Delta-9. The different benefits of cannabis continue to make controversial headlines in the medical and wellness fields. However, as more scientists, doctors, and consumers realize and experience the various surprising benefits of CBD, it’s likely a matter of time before it becomes a major component of wellness selections that’s federally regulated.

What is CBD Full Spectrum?

A full-spectrum CBD product contains multiple cannabis plant extracts, it may have a more potent effect than pure CBD Isolate. Full-spectrum CBD products contain some THC, but usually at low quantities of less than 0.3%Trusted Source. However, during the manufacturing process, THC levels can rise as the CBD converts into a concentrate. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the cannabinoid in the cannabis plant that produces the 'high' feeling in people. CBD Full Spectrum is a less potent form of Delta-8 and Delta-9.

What is the health benefits of CBD Full Spectrum?

CBD Full Spectrum is stated to assist with a range of reported health benefits, uses for full-spectrum CBD include anti-seizure, muscle spasm relief, antianxiety, pain relief, treatment for psychotic disorders, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory. Another 2018 study suggests that full-spectrum CBD is more effective for pain than CBD isolate because of the combined effects of CBD and THC.

What is Delta-8 ?

Federally legal hemp-derived extract, Delta-8 is in high demand due to relaxing effects and other health benefits. Delta-8 THC has psychoactive and intoxicating effects (i.e., the component responsible for the “high” people may experience from using cannabis).

Delta-8 users note significantly intense effects meaning Delta-8 can make you feel high, but at a lesser degree than Delta-9. It may also have similar therapeutic effects, but, again, not as intensely as with weed.

Please remember:

  • Delta-8  (containing up to 0.3% THC) is legal as a derivative of hemp thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill. While it’s legal federally, a handful of states have specifically banned either Delta-8, Delta-9 or hemp entirely.

  • The compound’s effects and its structure are similar to that of the THC found in marijuana, though it’s less potent
